Silver plating is an electrochemical process of applying a coating of silver to nickel and titanium alloys, stainless steel, fireproof steel, aluminum and aluminum alloys as well as copper and copper alloy parts. The silver coating prevents the parts from scrubbing and riveting on the toothing surfaces of shafts and pins and improves electrical contact.
